Founded in 1914, the A.B. Freeman School of Business at Tulane University is a premier college that combines classroom and experiential learning to prepare and guide current and future students to become business leaders. As part of its continuous effort to encourage idea sharing and networking, the college hosts the Annual Tulane Business Forum.
Currently in its 40th year, the Annual Tulane Business Forum is a half-day general business conference that will be held on October 4, 2019, at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center in New Orleans. The forum has invited local and national speakers to discuss pertinent topics in business. Mark Preston, the president of the Tulane Association of Business Alumni, will open the forum, then be followed by Brian A. Kane, the CFO of Humana, Inc. He will talk about the health care transformation for the 21st century.
The morning conference also includes a short presentation by Rick Fowler, the COO of LLOG Exploration Company, on the benefits of being a niche player in the industry. A portion of the forum is set aside for a 35-minute fireside chat on the U.S. economy, featuring the CEO and vice president of the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta.
