Geoffrey J. “Geoff” Block has extensive managerial experience including overseeing daily operations. In addition to his full-time job, Geoff Block volunteers to coach athletes in football, wrestling, and golf. Furthermore, as a Tulane University alumnus, Geoff Block gives back to his alma mater by supporting the Freeman School of Business.

The Freeman School of Business is ranked among the top business schools for entrepreneurship. In January 2021, the school launched an online graduate degree program, the first of its kind in the school’s history. Focusing on optimizing consumer experiences, the master of management in entrepreneurial hospitality is a 12-month program highlighting the importance of customer experience in business models.

Conducted almost entirely online, the program includes two sessions that take place at Freeman’s Stewart Center in New Orleans. The in-person sessions will provide graduates with hands-on experience. In addition to completing courses covering product development and real estate management, students will prepare a special presentation proposing a new hospitality venture which they will pitch to industry professionals.
